How it works
Cost per day = (grams ÷ 1000) × (bag price ÷ bag kg)
Knowing the daily feed amount and the price per kilo of the bag gives an exact daily cost, plus how long each bag lasts so you can plan reorders.
Worked example
At 300 g/day from a 12 kg bag costing $45, a bag lasts 40 days at about $1.13/day.
Frequently asked questions
How much should I feed?
Follow the bag’s guide for your dog’s weight and adjust for activity and body condition, or ask your vet.
Does wet food change this?
Yes — enter its daily grams and pack price the same way; wet food usually costs more per day.
