Affiliate Commission Earnings Calculator
Estimate affiliate earnings from clicks, conversion rate, average order value and commission rate — with earnings per click (EPC) to compare offers on one number.
How it works
Sales = clicks × conversion rate · Revenue = sales × AOV · Earnings = revenue × commission rate · EPC = earnings ÷ clicks
Affiliate income is a four-stage funnel: clicks convert to sales, sales carry an average order value, and the commission rate is your cut of that revenue. Earnings per click collapses the whole chain into one number, letting you rank offers regardless of their traffic — a program with a low commission rate but high conversion can out-earn a generous one that rarely converts. Because clicks multiply through every stage, EPC is the metric to optimize when you decide where to send traffic.
Worked example
5,000 clicks at a 3% conversion make 150 sales. At an $80 average order that is $12,000 of referred revenue; a 10% commission pays $1,200, which is an EPC of 1,200 ÷ 5,000 = $0.24 per click.
Frequently asked questions
What is earnings per click (EPC) and why does it matter?
EPC is total commission divided by clicks — the average money each visitor you send is worth. It lets you compare offers on a level field: a $0.30 EPC program beats a $0.15 one no matter how the underlying conversion and commission differ.
Does this handle per-sale (flat) commissions?
For a flat bounty, set the average order value to the payout and the commission rate to 100%, or read the commission-per-sale line directly. For percentage programs, enter the real AOV and rate as shown.
How can I increase affiliate earnings?
Every stage multiplies, so gains compound: more targeted clicks, higher on-page conversion, promoting higher-value products, and negotiating a better commission rate all flow straight into EPC and total earnings.
