SaaS MRR & ARR Calculator
Calculate monthly and annual recurring revenue from your customers and average price, with a growth projection.
How it works
MRR = customers × ARPU; ARR = MRR × 12; projected MRR = MRR × (1 + growth)^12
Recurring revenue is the backbone of a subscription business. MRR is customers times average monthly price; ARR annualises it. Compounding the monthly growth rate over twelve months shows where you are heading.
Worked example
200 customers at $40 is $8,000 MRR and $96,000 ARR; at 5% monthly growth MRR reaches about $14,367 in a year.
Frequently asked questions
Should annual plans be in MRR?
Yes — divide an annual plan’s price by 12 to get its monthly contribution to MRR.
Does this account for churn?
The growth rate should be your net rate (new minus churned). Enter a lower number if churn is high.
