Subscription Renewal Date Calculator
From your last billing date and billing cycle, find your next renewal date and the countdown to it.
How it works
next renewal = last billing date + one cycle, rolled forward until it is after today · countdown = next renewal − today
Starting from your last billing date, the calculator adds one billing cycle at a time until it reaches the first renewal that has not yet happened, so it works even if several cycles have passed. Monthly and longer cycles add real calendar months and clamp the day-of-month, matching how card processors bill (a January 31 anchor becomes February 28). The countdown is an exact calendar-day count so you know your cancel-by window.
Worked example
Last billed September 1, 2026 on a monthly cycle: the next renewal is October 1, 2026, and the one after that November 1, 2026. From September 15 that is 16 days until the next charge.
Frequently asked questions
What if several billing periods already passed?
The calculator keeps advancing by one cycle until it finds the first renewal after today, so it always shows the true next charge, not a date in the past.
How is a month-end anchor date billed?
The day-of-month is clamped to the shorter month, so a 31st anchor renews on the 28th or 29th in February and returns to the 31st in longer months — the same rule most subscription billers use.
Does this include the price of the renewal?
No — it only finds the date. To total what recurring plans cost you, use a subscription cost or subscription spending calculator.
