Diapers per Day Calculator
How many diapers your baby will use per day, week and month at each age — plus the total for the first year and a cost estimate.
How it works
Daily changes by age band × days; first year ≈ 2,900 diapers
Newborns wet 6+ diapers and pass several stools a day, so 10–12 changes is normal. Frequency drops as the bladder grows and feeds space out, to about 6 a day by the first birthday. Wet-diaper count is also a hydration check: fewer than 6 wet diapers after day 5 is worth mentioning to your doctor.
Worked example
A 2-month-old: about 9 a day = 63 a week ≈ 275 a month; at $0.25 each, about $68 monthly.
