Reverb Fee Calculator
Reverb seller payout for used gear — 5% selling fee plus payment processing (about 3.19% + $0.49) — with shipping, Reverb Bump costs and profit.
How it works
Fees = (price + shipping) × (selling % + processing %) + fixed + Bump % × price
Reverb charges a 5% selling fee and about 3.19% + $0.49 payment processing, both calculated on the total including shipping — roughly 8.7% all-in, well under eBay’s 13%+. Optional Bump promotion costs a percentage you choose, charged only when the item sells. Charging realistic shipping matters because fees apply to it and under-quoting eats your margin.
Worked example
$850 + $45 shipping: $44.75 selling + $29.04 processing = $73.79 in fees → $821.21 payout; after $52 actual shipping and $600 cost, $169 profit.
