Webinar Conversion Revenue Calculator
Project webinar revenue from registrants, attendance rate, conversion rate and average sale — the full funnel in one pass.
How it works
Attendees = registrants × attendance% · Customers = attendees × conversion% · Revenue = customers × average sale
Webinar revenue is a funnel: not everyone who registers shows up, not every attendee buys, and each buyer is worth an average sale. Multiplying through the stages turns registration numbers into a revenue projection and, crucially, into revenue per registrant — the figure that tells you how much you can afford to spend acquiring each sign-up. Attendance rate is the leakiest step, which is why reminder emails and replays move the number so much.
Worked example
500 registrants at a 40% attendance rate yield 200 live attendees. At an 8% attendee-to-customer rate that is 16 buyers, and at a $500 average sale, $8,000 in revenue — $16 for every registrant you brought in.
Frequently asked questions
What is a typical webinar attendance rate?
Live attendance commonly runs 35–50% of registrants; reminder sequences and a strong topic push it higher. Because attendance is the biggest drop-off in the funnel, improving it usually lifts revenue more than any other single change.
Should I count replay viewers?
If replays convert, fold them in — either raise the effective attendance rate or run a second calculation for the replay audience with its own conversion rate, then add the two revenue figures.
How does this help me set a budget?
Revenue per registrant is your ceiling for acquisition cost. If each registrant is worth $16 in revenue, paying much more than that (after margins) to acquire one via ads makes the webinar unprofitable.
