Days Together Calculator
Count how long you and your partner have been together — in days, weeks, months, years, hours and minutes — with your next 100-day and 1,000-day milestones, next anniversary and monthiversary, fun stats and a full milestone timeline.
How it works
days together = count-to date − start date (+ 1 if the first day counts) · weeks = days ÷ 7 · years, months, days counted month by month on the calendar · next 100-day milestone = days rounded up to the next multiple of 100 · hours = days × 24, minutes = days × 1,440
The calculator counts the exact calendar days from the day you got together to today, with leap days included, and shows the same span in weeks, in years, months and days (counted month by month, never by dividing by 365), in months alone, and in hours and minutes. By default it counts elapsed days, so the day after you got together is day 1; switch on the first-day option if you count your first day as day 1 too. Couples often celebrate round numbers, so it finds your next multiple-of-100 day, your next big milestone (500, 1,000, 1,111, 2,000 days and so on), your next yearly anniversary with the classic gift theme for that year, and your next monthiversary. A timeline lists the upcoming milestones with their dates and weekdays — including fun ones like 10,000 hours, a million minutes and a billion seconds — and a second table shows the ones you have already passed. Pick a future “count up to” date to see how long you will have been together on a trip, a proposal or a wedding day.
Worked example
Together since February 14, 2018 and checked on October 19, 2026: that is 3,169 days, or 452 weeks and 5 days — 8 years, 8 months, 5 days (104 months, 5 days), about 8.68 years, or 76,056 hours. The next 100-day milestone (3,200 days) is 31 days away on November 19, 2026, the next big one is 3,333 days on Thursday, April 1, 2027, and the 9th anniversary is 118 days away on February 14, 2027 (classic gifts: pottery or willow, or leather). The couple has shared 453 weekends, 8 Valentine’s Days and about 107 full moons so far.
Frequently asked questions
What date should I use as the start?
Whichever day you count as the beginning — your first date, the day you made it official, or an agreed anniversary. The calculator counts forward from whatever you enter.
Is the first day counted?
By default no — it counts elapsed days, so the day after you got together is day 1, the same way date-difference calculators work. If you call your first day “day 1”, switch on “Count the first day as day 1” under More options and every count and milestone date shifts by one day.
What are common relationship milestones?
Round day counts like 100, 365, 500, 1,000 and 1,111 days, every 100 days after that, the monthly “monthiversary” and the yearly anniversary. Some couples also mark 10,000 hours (about 417 days) or a million minutes (about 694 days). The timeline lists them all with dates.
How many days is 1, 2 or 5 years together?
One year is 365 days (366 if it includes February 29), two years 730 or 731, and five years 1,826 or 1,827 days depending on how many leap days fall in between. Enter your date and the calculator counts the real calendar.
Can I see how long we will have been together on a future date?
Yes. Under More options, set “Count up to” to the future date — a holiday, a proposal or a wedding — and all the counts and milestones are worked out for that day.
