How it works
Fees = revenue×selling% + (revenue×processing% + fixed) · You earn = revenue − fees · Profit = payout − item cost (revenue = price + shipping)
Depop dropped its 10% selling fee for US sellers in 2024, leaving only Depop Payments processing (around 3.3% + $0.45); in the UK and elsewhere a selling fee may still apply. Because the picture depends on where you sell, the selling fee defaults to 0 and is editable, and the processing rate and fixed fee are too. Fees are charged on the item price plus any shipping the buyer pays, so both are included; your profit then removes what the item cost you.
Worked example
A $25 item with free shipping, US rates: no selling fee, processing 3.3% + $0.45 = $1.28. You earn $23.72, an effective 5.1%. After a $6 item cost your profit is $17.72 — a 70.9% margin. If a 10% UK selling fee applied it would add $2.50 and cut earnings to $21.22.

Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee?
In the US, Depop removed the 10% selling fee in 2024, so sellers there pay only Depop Payments processing. In the UK and some other markets a selling fee may still apply. Set the selling fee to your region’s rate — 0 for the US, around 10% where it still applies.
Are Depop fees charged on shipping?
Depop Payments processing applies to the total the buyer pays, including shipping, so enter your shipping charged to base the fee on the full amount. If you cover the shipping label yourself, also subtract that cost from the profit shown.
What is Depop Payments?
It is Depop’s built-in checkout that processes card payments, charging roughly 3.3% plus a fixed amount per transaction. It replaced the old option to pay via PayPal and is now the standard way buyers pay, so the processing fee applies to essentially every sale.
