Destiny Matrix Calculator (22 Arcana Numerology Chart from Your Birth Date)

How it works

every number is reduced to 1–22 by adding its digits while it exceeds 22 · A = day, B = month, C = digit sum of the year, D = A + B + C, E (centre) = A + B + C + D · F = A + B, G = B + C, H = C + D, I = D + A · sky = B + D, earth = A + C, personal purpose = sky + earth; male line = F + H, female line = G + I, social purpose = male + female; spiritual = personal + social; planetary = social + spiritual · karmic tail = (D + (D + E)) – (D + E) – D

The destiny matrix (or "matrix of destiny") is a modern numerology system created by Natalia Ladini in 2006 that maps the birth date onto an octagram of points, each linked to one of the 22 major arcana of the tarot. Day, month and year form the outer points, their sums the centre (comfort zone), the ancestral lines and the "purposes" for different stages of life; the karmic tail runs from the lowest point. The calculator applies the standard reduction rules exactly. The system is esoteric and has no scientific basis; use it as entertainment or a prompt for reflection.

Worked example

For May 15, 1990: A = 15 (The Devil), B = 5, C = 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19, D = 15 + 5 + 19 = 39 → 12, and the centre E = 15 + 5 + 19 + 12 = 51 → 6, The Lovers. The personal purpose is 6, the social purpose 21, the spiritual purpose 9, and the karmic tail reads 3-18-12.
