Poshmark uses a two-tier commission. On sales below a set threshold (in the US, $15) it takes a single flat fee; at or above the threshold it takes a percentage of the sale price (20% in the US). There is no separate payment-processing fee — the commission covers it. This tool applies whichever tier your price falls into, subtracts your item cost, and shows your take-home and margin. The threshold, flat fee and percentage are all editable, so it works for other Poshmark markets or a fee update.
Worked example
Sell a $20 item that cost $5: because $20 is at or above the $15 threshold, Poshmark takes 20% = $4.00. You keep $16.00 and, after the $5 cost, $11.00 profit — a 55.0% margin. Drop the price to $12 and the flat $2.95 fee applies instead, leaving $9.05 before cost.

How does Poshmark’s flat fee work?
For any sale under the threshold (US $15), Poshmark charges a single flat fee (US $2.95) instead of a percentage. It is often cheaper in dollar terms than the percentage would be, but on very low-priced items it becomes a large share of the sale.
Does Poshmark charge a separate payment-processing fee?
No. Unlike most marketplaces, Poshmark’s commission is all-in — it already covers payment processing, so there is no extra percentage-plus-fixed card fee to add on top.
Who pays for shipping on Poshmark?
Shipping is normally paid by the buyer through a prepaid label, so it does not come out of your commission and is not part of this profit figure. That is why there is no shipping input here — enter only your price and item cost.
