How it works

workdays left = weekdays (Mon–Fri) from today (or tomorrow) through the last day of the month − remaining holidays

Only Monday-to-Friday days are working time, so the workdays left in a month is the count of weekdays from your reference date through the month’s final day. Whether today counts depends on the time of day — the toggle lets you include it if the workday is still ahead of you, or start from tomorrow if it is done. Subtracting weekday public holidays that are still to come sharpens the figure for planning deliverables, timesheets, or how much runway a monthly target has left.

Worked example

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, counting today, the weekdays from the 16th through the 30th total 11 workdays. September has 22 workdays overall, so 11 are done and 11 remain.

Does this include public holidays?

Not automatically — holidays vary by country and region. Enter how many weekday holidays remain in the month and they are removed from the count.

Should I count today?

If your workday is still ahead of you, include it. If today’s work is already finished, choose "from tomorrow" so the remaining count reflects what is genuinely left.

Which days count as workdays?

Monday through Friday. Weekends are excluded, as are any holidays you enter. Adjust the holiday count if your schedule differs.
